Solar system is one of the efficient renewable energies which are widely used in many types of equipment at present from small scale to large scale. The solar power is nothing but the utilization of light obtained from the sun. This sun power is then converted in the form of electric energy and implanted in the required equipment. Inverter: the inverters convert the direct current to alternative current. The direct current is unidirectional in nature (i.e.) the current flows in the single direction without any deviation. other  than solar panels, they are emitted from batteries, thermocouples, etc… some examples of dc powered equipments are cell charger, torch light, etc… the current what we acquire though the sockets and plugs are AC and number of major equipments like television, washing machine, fridge, etc…are AC powered. Thus for the purpose of household usage the direct current get converted into alternative current.

Electrical panels and utility meter: the electrical panels are used to utilize the AC current to power the appliances. The limited solar power produce enough of power required for the house, in case of power produced more than a limit. It gets redirected to utility meter which supplies power to the house during the power offset and night when the sunlight is not available.

Power grids: the power grids are often used to transfer the current from the production area to the residential areas. This utility grid will help to utilize the power to your house during night time, which is then compensated for the solar energy you give to the grid during day time.

Batteries: the batteries in here stores the light energy observed in the converted AC from which is to be used for the future purpose. The type of batteries used is lithium batteries and lead acid batteries. The batteries are kept as an optional one for a house completely runs by solar, whereas the battery is essential in case if the UPS runs on solar.
